I never know what to say about myself when it comes to things like this. Do I share too much, or, as my nature prefers, say nothing at all? Will people think of me as laconic when I know that I am sometimes gregarious? Who reads these anyway but a stranger, and yet, who better than a stranger to listen to your unguarded thoughts and honest ramblings? I suppose I have opted for the latter, and that's why I'm here, typing this now. And perhaps that is why you are listening to me.

principles

1. I only speak honestly in this journal, even if I'm admitting something particularly dishonest or nasty about myself so that there is at least one place in the world where I am 100% true.

2. I type more about what's on my mind than what I've been up to in my daily life.

3. I'm not very extraordinary or wise, but I have been told that my words speak to the heart and that I have changed perspectives. I don't know what this means, because all I do is write in illustrative prose when I'm moody and even more when I'm depressed, which hasn't happened in a while. But if you're curious, you're more than welcome to add me and I will add you back.
